"Wow, Gas Prices Have REALLY Gone Up!!"

In the Northeast and the Southwest gas prices, as we all know are soaring like the greart American Bald Eagle. And I'm sure you are tired of hearing about it. I did find this interesting article about fuel-efficenty cars and a possible loophole to that strategy.

There are movements to show that non-polluting methods of transportation are available, realiable and feasible (sp??). A group like Time's Up whose mission is to, "TIME'S UP! is a grassroots environmental group that uses educational outreach and direct action to promote a more sustainable, less toxic city. For more than 15 years, TIME'S UP! has worked to educate people about the environmental impacts of everyday decisions, from the food we buy to the means of transportation we use. " Time's Up also support another similar movement, Critical Mass.

However, one should be careful about supporting your local non-violent progressive organization. The New York Times recently uncovered that the District Attorney's office tampered with evidence against a member of Critical Mass that would've shown he was innocent. And the fight continues...
